Organic Fenugreek Seeds, contain pungent, astringent, bitter and sweet tastes. The high mucilage content of these seeds act as a soothing demulcent that can heal ulcers and increase the bulk of stool. They help to balance blood sugar levels in both types 1 and 2 diabetes. Taken post- partum to encourage bowel movements and clean the uterus. Due to its nourishing effect on the rasa dhatu (plasma) also helps to encourage the healthy flow of breast milk. Delicious sautéed in ghee and added to meals, made into a tea infusion or sprouted and added to salads.
