Description
Ayurvedic eye care formula, said by the ancients to be helpful in early stages of cataract and helpful in clearing Pterygium. When used as part of an Ayurvedic daily ritual, this treatment may offer eye protection from sun, smoke, pollution and computer use. Time tested, being formulated from the Kerala Ayurveda tradition as a blend to enhance lifestyle. The application of this formula is very specific. Please speak to one of our practitioners before use. Do not use if the eyes are inflamed or infected.
Application:
As a daily ritual, begin the day by washing your eyes with cool water.
Using your finger tip, apply 1 drop of Bright Eyes to the bottom, inner side of each eye lid. Blink and move the eye around till the liquid has spread all over the eye. The eye may sting for a short time. After 10 minutes wash the eye out with cool water if you wish.
Avoid: If one has a chronic eye disease.
Bright Eyes – Herbal Eye Application – ingredients:
Turmeric (stem) – Berberis aristata – 96 g
Chebulic Myrobalan fruit rind – Terminalia chebula – 96 g
Belliric Myrobalan fruit rind – Terminalia bellirica – 96 g
Indian gooseberry fruit – Emblica officinalis Gaertn. – 96 g
Licorice – Glycyrrhiza glabra – 144 g
Coconut water – 8.172 liters
Camphor – Cinnamomum camphora – 12 g
Gambhari – Coomb Teak (root) – Gmelina arborea – 12 g
Saindhava Lavana – Rock salt – 6 g
Honey 170 g
Additional information
We highly recommend a light and easy-to digest diet, with plenty of good cooling fats, like ghee or coconut oil. Best to avoid chilli, alcohol and when showering ensure the water is only warm, so as to not overheat the head. Start the day by washing the face and eyes with cool water to enliven the sense organs. To help support the eyes, Guluchyadi Tea may also be taken. Remember to eat plenty of fresh fruit and veggies and ONLY eat safe carbohydrates.
